Jameson Irish Whiskey

Jameson is the world’s best-selling Irish whiskey and the world’s third-best-selling whiskey. It’s absolutely everywhere in the bar scene, appearing in everything from the Green Tea Shot to the Pickleback Shot.

The brand has grown in prominence in Ireland and internationally since its establishment in 1780. Despite the fact that Jameson is an Irish whiskey that has been matured for at least three years in Ireland, the brand sources its barrels from Spain and the United States. The barrels were previously used to age bourbon, which helps to give vanilla and toasted wood aromas to the whiskey.

All of Jameson’s barley is cultivated in Ireland, and all of the water used in the distillation process comes from the Dungourney River, which flows directly through the location of the distillery. To ensure smoothness, Irish whiskey is distilled three times in copper stills.

The amount of time spent  in the barrel varies per batch, but it’s distilled for at least three years to meet the requirements of being an authentic Irish whiskey.

Description

Jameson Irish Whiskey has a warm, golden honey tint to it, which gives it an enticing appearance that matches the smooth, elevated flavor of the classic whiskey.

Jameson has a mild flowery scent that is studded with spicy wood and sweet notes, followed by a remarkable mix of spicy, nutty, fruit and vanilla cream tones on the palate, with undertones of sweet sherry, that develops into a wonderfully pleasant and gentle finish.
