Sauza Hacienda Tequila Gold

Sauza Tequila was founded in 1873 and introduced tequila to the American market. It was named after its founder, Don Cenobio Sauza. As a result, it opened the door for artisan brands with strong indigenous roots. In fact, Sauza was key in making tequila “tequila” – a unique agave liquor, unlike mezcal that has grown into its own major category.

Sauza Hacienda Tequila is a tequila that can be used in a variety of scenarios. A careful filtration technique keeps the fresh blue agave flavors intact. Sauza Hacienda Gold has a surprising depth and mixability, making it ideal for margaritas and other cocktails.

Sauza Tequila Gold is a sweet, medium-bodied spirit with a lot of fresh agave flavor. This sweet young tequila with vanilla and caramel undertones is ideal during the summer season.

Casa Sauza is located in Jalisco, Mexico, where the world’s best blue weber agave grows. The nectar that is at the heart of every Sauza tequila is harvested from the heart of this plant. Sauza Gold Tequila is a blended tequila that contains at least 51% agave. Other sugars, such as cane sugar, are used to make the remainder.  To match its name, the unaged tequila is lightly colored to give it a golden hue.
